Beautiful Day #2
It was an even prettier day today than yesterday! We went to the Hoover library for their story time today and I let Jonas pick out some new train books. Tinzley LOVED story time. She was so cute when they did the bean bag song. She sat there with her bean bag bouncing and shaking. SO CUTE. I tried to get a picture but I should have been taking video.
We then picked up lunch at Chick Fil A and went to the park to eat and play and ENJOY the outdoors. Jonas loves playing on the playground and we have plenty of parks around here to keep us busy. Tinzley just likes eating the dirt. :)
We then came home and continued to play outside. Tinzley loved swinging and took her first ride around the yard in the wagon. We are about to settle down for naps... Ahhh my favorite time of day. I may go out side and enjoy the day some more!

Beautiful DAY!
So it was a beautiful day today. I had to get me and the kids outside today. Our car is in desperate need of cleaning so I got out the vacuum and let the kids run/crawl wild out in the yard.

Botanical Gardens
I was determined to get out of the house today! The weather here has been cloudy and chilly and not weather I want to get myself or two kids out in. It has been SO depressing. I just want some sun and some warm and I want it to stay that way for more than two days! I am sorry to complain especially to those in the midwest and north where I know it could be a lot worse. I am just so grumpy lately and then only thing I can think to blame it on is the lack of sunshine and warmth!
So, with all of that said we went to the Botanical Gardens here in Birmingham. It is free and a pretty place to walk around. Jonas LOVED walking/running around and looking at the fountains and streams and he loved the dessert room with cactus/cacti? growing.
Tinzley had to have her eyes on Jonas the whole time. She craned her neck around the stroller if he was behind us and she squealed and laughed as she watched him run ahead of us.
Like I said it has been a little dreary so there was not a ton of stuff blooming but enough to make me think spring has to be on its way right?

Busy Exciting Weekend!
My parents came into town last Thursday. They came down so my Dad could do some networking and look for a job. We had no idea that he would get an interview and a job all in the same day!
So, they got in Thursday night. We put together Jonas' bunk beds so my Dad would have a bed. My Mom made a little pallet on the floor. Jonas had a crowd in his room!
My Mom and I took the kids to the McWane Center and met some friends on Friday morning.
Tom and I got to go to a movie that night and get blizzards at DQ. We went to the dollar theater and had a buy one get on free coupon for the blizzards. Date total-$5.70!
On Saturday morning we let Dad work on the computer and we all took a walk on a BEAUTIFUL day! Spring is officially here, FINALLY!
Sunday we all went to church and ate lunch. Tom and I went grocery shopping that afternoon while the kids slept. Monday my Dad had an interview and I went off to clean minus the kiddos. After I got home and we ate lunch my Mom and I took the kids down to a train/railroad museum. It was closed but they have a lot of trains outside you can look at. Have I mentioned Jonas LOVES trains?
Later that afternoon my Dad got a call that he got the job. YEAH! ANSWERED PRAYERS! He will be working for Keet Consulting. They are in the same office building as Tom. :)
We are excited to have my parents living down here. My Mom is going to have to hang around in Wisconsin until the house sells but my Dad will be here in two weeks to start work. Please keep them in your prayers that they sell their house QUICKLY!
Thanks to all of you who prayed for us. It is amazing how God works.
