I just felt bad...

So I had to take some pics and post them!

No pics, No news, just busy

I have not been on here in awhile and I feel bad but we have just been SO busy this week.  We have not stayed home any day this week except for today.  Hence having the time to blog today.
 Starting on Sunday Tinzley had a runny nose, a cough, and a little bit of a fever.  That being said she was acting completely normal.  This is the first time I was worried about her being sick.  I did not think we needed to go to the doctor though.  With all of that said yesterday I felt the first bit of a tooth coming through.  So she is getting teeth which is what I was suspecting but did not want to say anything.  Jonas did not get teeth until 10 months so for us she is early.
So today she was still having the runny nose and the cough and so I tortured her for  a bit to get a look and a feel of her gums and I am pretty sure she is getting her other bottom tooth.  ( I should have mentioned it was on the bottom, aren't the first teeth always on the bottom?)
So, like I said we have been pretty busy.  Jonas is pretty busy I should say.  He had a play date on Monday, Ladies Bible Class on Tuesday (where he gets to go play in the nursery, which he LOVES), story time on Wednesday morning and then another play date after that.  Today we are just staying home so I can clean and catch up on laundry.  Tomorrow is the day of work for me.  I go to clean my friend's house every other Friday for a little money.  I just found out to, that I picked up another house to clean on the other Fridays.  This is good because we have a big trip coming in April and need all the help we can get saving up for it.  Thankfully, the hotel is already paid for.  :)
Well, I fell as though I am just rambling.  I hope everyone else is having a good week!  Sorry no pictures today!

Great Day

So yesterday we had plans to go over to a friend's house but I woke up to find out plans had changed.  I was a little bummed because we had not gotten out of the house the day before and we had not had time with friends in awhile.  So being the savvy mom I am I went for plan B.  We had another friend that had wanted to hang out but we had already made plans, since those plans were a wash we told them we were available.  We met up with them at the Galleria.  Jonas had so much fun playing his friend Ayla, and I had a great time having an adult conversation with my friend, Andrea!  Tinzley had fun staring and smiling at Paxton.  :)  Fun for everyone.
We went and ate lunch at the food court and Jonas and Ayla had such a great time waving at all the kids on the carousel.  We then took a tour around the Disney store and Ayla got a Dalmation at Build A Bear.  Jonas has never been to Build A Bear and he did such a great job helping Ayla.  He was really good about not getting an animal too.  I told him we could do it someday when Daddy was with us.  Daddy would not want to miss out on such an opportunity.  :)
So then we went home and had our naps.
We then got a call from our friends the Yaegers, who we had our earlier plans with that day, who wanted to join us for dinner.  I said sure, the more the merrier.  So, with not really any idea what to do for 7 plus people I was rushing around the kitchen and finally decided to make Lasagna!  It was a big hit and we had such a good time visiting and the kids had a BLAST running around and playing together.  After the Yaegers left we were in Jonas' room playing and propped Tinzley up to hold onto Jonas' bed.  She held herself up really well.  She is not really into taking any steps yet but held herself for a good 5-10 min.  Enough time for me to get a few pics.

We had just the perfect day!  Good friends, Good food, and Good times with our family!

Bow Head and Park

Tinzley is almost getting enough hair to put a bow in her hair.  I am not in love with putting a bow in her head everyday or anything like that but I do live in the South.  The bows are a must down here at least at some point.  So I attempted a bow in Tinzley's head last night.  It worked for about 5 min.  Just enough time to get a few pictures.  :)

Also, we took a trip to the park this morning.  The kids loved swinging at the park and being able to go really high.  

Getting to go outside!

Yesterday was so beautiful.  It was sunny and 60 degrees!  I decided to take Tinzley and Jonas outside to play!  Tinzley has not been outside to play since she was around 5 months.  She is now sitting up and I wanted to see what she thought of the grass.  We also got to swing a little on our swing set.  Jonas and Tinzley both loved being outside!  I did too!

Bump on the head :(

Last night while Tom and I were both in the kitchen and had Tinzley on the counter she took a little spill to the floor.  Mom and Dad of the year award anyone?  She is fine but just has a big bruise on her forehead.  She seems to be acting pretty much normal just a little bit more cranky, understandably, but I felt horrible.  She is definitely not sitting still anymore.

I also took some pics of her today because I loved her outfit and I love taking pics of both of my kids.  Tinzley just tends to be a little more cooperative.  :)

New playroom

So I came home and wanted my living room back.  Tinzley's room is now an unofficial playroom.  I moved her crib and added some bookshelves and tried to organize the toys.  Jonas has some new rules as to where his toys can go.  He can play with toys in his room or Tinzley's room.  I have taken back my living room!  Here are some pictures of them playing together.  So cute!
