Busy Sewing!

I have been having so much fun sewing. These little bandana dresses are so easy and so cute. I have also started to work on two other types of dresses and I just made my first bag/purse out of an old t-shirt.
Tinzley and Jonas and I have also been busy this week. We went to the pool at the LaCroix's pool and we went over to the Steed's house for a playdate. The kids played so well. Jonas was his wild self and was having bathroom issues as always. :)

We are going to St. Louis this weekend for our 6th anniversary. We are taking the kids and my mom is going to meet us there to watch them while we go to a concert under The Arch and a Cardinals game. It should be fun. It will be interesting with the kids in the car.

Dr. Visit

Tinzley went to the doctor today for her 2 month check up. She weighed in at 12 lbs and is 24 inches long. The doctor seemed very pleased with her progress. She also got a lot of shots today. She did really well though.

We have had three very busy days. Tuesday we stayed home and caught up on sleep and cleaning. I had so much laundry to do! We then had VBS that night. Jonas just absolutely loves VBS!

Yesterday we went to the library for storytime with our good friend Shelly and her daughter, Tess, and son, Hudson. Tess and Jonas usually are very shy and quiet at story time but not this time. They were the loudest ones there. This I guess is a good and bad thing. Then afterwards we were trying to round them up and Jonas ran into another little girl there. No big deal except she started crying. Oh, kids! We then came back to our house for a little playtime outside. Jonas and Tess had so much fun!! They even danced to HSM in the garage. So cute!
We had our last night of VBS last night and Jonas was the donut king and ate 2 1/2 donuts at snack time. I am so proud! :P He is always entertaining his teachers. They always have a story to tell.

Today we went to Shelly's house to play again. We were going to go to their pool but it was too late. Jonas and Tinzley slept in so we did not get there as soon as we wanted. Oh well. Jonas and Tess again had so much fun playing. I then took Jonas to Ms. Jodi's house while I took Tinzley to her Doctor appointment. Both kids did great!
Now both kids are napping and Tom and I are planning to take them to the grocery store tonight. We will see how it goes!

Two of a Kind

Here is a pic of Jonas and Tinzley. They are both 2 1/2 months.

I think they look so much alike.

Trip Home/VBS/Christina's Visit

So excited for VBS!

She is so smiley!

Wow what a crazy month it has been. We were in Wisconsin for two weeks. While I was up there I got to visit with lots of old friends and it was so much fun. I talked my friend Christina in to coming back with us to Alabama for a few days. She came down with us and her and my mom left this morning. We had so much fun having her here. We also started VBS at our church on Sunday and Jonas LOVES it. He gets so excited and is hard to calm down when we get home.

Tinzley did really well on the trip up to Wisconsin. She did good on the way back but she was done being in the car after 8 hours. The drive ta
kes 13. So she cried off and on the last 4 hours home. It was not so bad but not enjoyable either.
We played some fun word games to pass the time. Jonas was very good in the car both ways. He just sits and sucks on his blankets and entertains the rest of us.

Happy girl in
the car!

Here are some pictures of the trip home, VBS night, and Christina's visit.
While she was here we got to go to a pool party
which Jonas also LOVED.

Wisconsin Visit

We are heading home tomorrow.  We have had a very busy and fun visit in Wisconsin.  We did not do anything too exciting.  We visited with a lot of family and friends.  Jonas met all of my friends from high school and got to play with their children.  He also got to meet people from church and had so much fun playing with all the kids.  He has had a good time playing outside and getting in the pool outside even though it was freezing cold water and 75 outside.  I do not have a lot of pictures but I am hoping my mom took more than I did.

Tinzley has also been an excellent girl.  She has slept really well and I have gotten to sleep in because my mom takes Jonas in the morning.  She also got really stuffed up while we were here.  I hope she is just allergic to Wisconsin and not something more serious.  We are excited to get home and be with Tom again.

Here is a picture of Jonas and I with the infamous Big Cow.

New Hair Cuts

Jonas and I went and got our hair cut this morning.  Jonas did really well.  I got a lot cut off and I feel as if I lost 10 pounds.  I am going to donate it to Locks for Love.  Here are some pics.

Ladies Bible Study

Tuesday night I got to visit with the ladies from our old church.  They were having a bible study and my mom and I decided to take the kids.  It was so refreshing to visit with old friends and to study the bible and pray together.  Jonas had so much fun playing with a new friend.  Tinzley got passed around and eventually passed out.  Thanks Lisa for a wonderful evening.

I also got to eat at Italian House.  My favorite restaurant!  SO Yummy!

Old Friends and Lots of Kids

On Monday night I had three of my best friends from high school over for dinner.  It was so much fun to visit with all of them.  There were 5 kids in total ranging from 8 weeks to 2 1/2.  It was so great to laugh, eat, talk, and watch all of the kids play.  It is amazing how life changes.  When visiting and talking it felt as no time has passed.  We pick up on conversation as if we have never been apart.  What a great night!

No internet/Trip to Wisconsin

It has been awhile since I posted because we have been without internet for the past week.  We are in the middle of transitioning between Charter and AT&T.  My mom and I were going crazy not being able to check our facebooks.  Pathetic, I know!

In the meantime we are now in Wisconsin.  We made the trip yesterday in 14 hours.  Jonas and Tinzley were incredible on the trip.  An hour before we were at our destination Tinzley threw up pretty much all she had eaten that day.  She was not crying or cranky so we think it was either car sickness or pure exhaustion and tired of being in the car seat.  Nobody blamed her.  We got in about 10 and the kids were both wound up from being out of the car.  We all got to bed around 10:45 /11.  Tinzley slept until 7:30 this morning but was very restless last night.  I could tell she did not feel great.  She woke up this morning and took her bottle and has really been a happy camper.  Jonas is very excited to be in "Miss Consin".  I am sure we will have more to share soon!
